The secondary air pump is there for emission purposes and not needed for a properly running car. This is true because some models doesn’t have this equipped. This also need to be removed to make space for the turbocharger.

Flange and gaskets where the valve is mounted

Aluminum to cover the hole is fabricated

Using gasket maker, the cover is mounted and now we have more space with reduced weight
